EPC Engineering Manager (Utility-Scale Solar Projects - Electrical)

Our client, a growing industrial & utility-scale solar EPC, is on an exciting trajectory to become one of America’s leading EPCs. As they expand their portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, they are looking for an experienced EPC Engineering Manager to join their team. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical success of projects ranging from 20MW to 75MW, with larger-scale projects already in the pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the engineering design and implementation of electrical systems for utility-scale solar projects.
• Lead technical teams to develop and implement detailed engineering plans, including electrical system design, layout, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Ensure all engineering activities are in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project teams and stakeholders on all electrical engineering matters.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by effectively managing engineering resources and budgets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience managing electrical engineering for utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems in large-scale solar PV installations.
• Experience working with engineering and project management teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for solar projects, including permitting and compliance standards.
• Proven track record of overseeing engineering teams and ensuring project success in large EPC environments.
