Project Manager - EPC UK Grid \n\nLocation: North East, United Kingdom - hybrid working available\nStart date: ASAP / Feb 2025\n£500 - £600 per day, outside IR35.\nHybrid working, 2 days working from homeKeywords: Project Management, medium voltage, high voltage, switchgear, control panels, distribution, electrical engineering, transformers\n Turner Lovell are looking for an EPC Project Manager to join a market leading and innovative engineering firm that are helping to power the UK transmission & distribution grid. The client is looking for an EPC experienced individual to lead, coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of control & protection systems within substations, in the UK. \n Experience as a Project Manager in both managing the implementation of control and protection systems and EPC experience on projects within the UK is critical for this role.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including the engineering, and commercial teams, as well as external customers and suppliers.\n Key duties:\n\nTo lead, coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of protection and control equipment on sites - from point of order right through to installation and handover\nWork with the manufacturing factory, engineering team and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality & SHEQ standards and within budget.\nLiaise with customers to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.\nManage and foster a strong relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.\nIdentify and resolve any project issues that may arise.\nPrepare and submit non-conformance reports.\nWork with the internal engineering team to assist with project processes and efficiencyRequirements:\n\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or similar related field\n3 + years Project Management within the UK renewable energy industry\nExperience working with DNOs and TSOs in the UK.\nStrong understanding of primary electrical equipment and systems used for transmission / distribution / power networks\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.\nProject Management qualification (desirable but not essential).This is an exciting new opportunity to get involved in renewable energy projects that help to power the UK grid.
