Job Title: EPC Senior QA/QC Manager

Job Purpose:
The EPC Senior QA/QC Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes across oil and gas EPC projects. This role ensures compliance with international quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The manager develops and implements quality management systems, conducts audits, and collaborates with engineering and construction teams to maintain the highest quality standards in project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and management systems in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, and project specifications.
- Quality Audits & Inspections: Lead quality audits, inspections, and assessments to identify and resolve quality issues during EPC project execution.
- Material Testing & NDT: Oversee material testing, welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality control activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Documentation: Review and approve quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC reports.
- Non-Conformity Management: Investigate non-conformities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Third-Party Relationships: Manage relationships with third-party inspectors, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Training & Development: Develop and deliver QA/QC training programs for project teams to enhance quality awareness and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of quality professionals, ensuring adherence to project quality objectives and timelines.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
- 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and best practices in the oil and gas EPC industry.
- Expertise in conducting audits, inspections, and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
- Proficiency in quality assurance software and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- ERP knowledge (preferably SAP functional skills) is required for success in this role.
