LASER OPERATOR (Omaha)

compensation: $22-25

employment type: full-time

We are looking for a new team member to join us Full-Time Monday thru Friday on our second shift 2:00 PM-10:30 PM.

Job Duties:

* Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on laser cutting equipment

* Stage raw materials at each work-center for the day’s production

* Load and unload machines

* Maintain daily dust collector service and associated logbook in assigned area and report equipment deficiencies

* Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department

Qualifications:

*1-2 years previous laser operation experience , but will train right candidate

*Excellent attendance

*Read and understand work before starting, then follow all provided details and instructions

*Ability to handle physical workload

*Safety conscious behavior. Ensure all equipment is properly set-up, work in a safe manner, and report unsafe conditions

Physical Demands:
*Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
*Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
*Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
*Requires bending and reaching
*Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
*Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to high decibel noises, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases
