Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide service, maintenance and installation of bakery equipment.
• Industrial and standard hand tool knowledge
• Use of an electric meter, gas meter and exhaust flow meters
• Travel bookings such as plane, car and hotel
• Safety procedures such as OSHA policy
• Able to lift 50lbs / 23kb
• Bake test on newly installed equipment and report results

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a service technician or maintenance technician for food equipment preferred in a bakery, food processing or cooling and refrigeration for supermarkets, groceries and food service chains.

• experienced in building and repair of industrial machines
• experienced in the maintenance of industrial machines
• knowledge of food processing and/or baking in supermarkets, groceries and food service chains
• Implementing processes for installation, service and startup process finished with the handover to the customer
• ERP system / SAP experience preferred

Skills:

• Good communicational and managing skills while cooperating with customers, service partners and colleagues.

• Excellent people skills with the customers and trade people.

• Willingness for longer service trips is mandatory.

• Highly loyal to customers and employer.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
