Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in the HVAC industry to join our team in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, along with proven experience in estimating project costs. This role involves collaborating with project managers, reviewing specifications, and providing accurate and competitive estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications and understand HVAC requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Analyze project blueprints and other documentation to prepare accurate cost assessments.
• Provide timely and competitive estimates for HVAC projects.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and project requirements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting project blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Estimator in the HVAC industry.
• Familiarity with estimating software/tools is a plus.
