Estimating Manager – Surfacing & Highways



Office Locations: Claydon & Northfleet



£50,000 - £70,000 + Company Car + Bonus Scheme



Information on the role



* Prepare and write high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals for new projects and contracts



* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project managers, engineers) to gather necessary information for bid submissions



* Ensure all bids are compliant with industry standards and meet client specifications



* Maintain a database of previous bids and proposal templates for future use



* Track bid progress, from initiation through to submission and evaluation



What we’d like from you



* Proven Experience in Bid Writing, Tendering, Estimating, ideally in the Surfacing / Highways / Civils sectors



* Strong research and analytical skills to identify bid opportunities



* Exceptional written English skills with attention to detail



* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure



* Excellent organisation and time management skills
