Job Description
Join a leading Custom Home Builders with over 35 years of experience in the Sydney market. Working on projects up to $6M.
Junior Estimators are also advised to apply with 2-3 + years of experience
The role:
Full cycle estimating position - Sales & Production
BOQ's within timelines
Take offs, quantities, production orders, supplier & contractor agreements
Liaising with suppliers, tradespeople, contractors and site supervisors
The requirements:
Estimating experience at least 4 + years in a similar role
Be familiar with estimating software
An understanding of purchasing and pricing
Working knowledge of applicable building codes
English language literacy and fluency
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadline
Your role as the Estimator:
BOQs, purchase orders, invoicing, excel
Compiling preliminary pricing and preparing accurate base cost for projects
Prepare tenders, assist with pricing requests and generate accurate base costs for projects
Liaising with the Operations Manager and the external suppliers/subcontractors
What you need to fulfill the Estimating role:
Excellent attitude to learn
Building knowledge required
Trade certificate - Carpentry preferred
Great communication skills
