Estimator Mayo Salary DOE Working closely with the Bid Manager to ensure a smooth bid process, including initial design, program development, and compiling technical proposals. Coordinating and preparing bids, engaging with various suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties, including managing proposals for equipment supply. Compiling supporting documentation for proposals, such as technical proposals, equipment selection details, project delivery plans, and preliminary project schedules. Maintaining an organized approach to meet strict deadlines for tender proposal su missions. Assisting in program planning, analysis, and updates. Supporting the Bid Manager in various aspects of departmental development. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A minimum of a Level 7 Degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. Capable of collaborative teamwork and contributing valuable insights during team meetings. Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with suppliers, subcontractors, and team members. Proactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability to address issues during tender preparation. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
