Position: Estimator



Location: Cardiff



Salary: >£65k + package



This is a great opportunity for an Estimator to join our Construction client to ensure the smooth running of projects from beginning to end.



The Estimator will be responsible for:



Co-ordinate the tender process in a timely fashion

Accurate measurement using both CAD measure & manual measures

Production of tenders using Estimating Software System

Produce an accurate prime cost for the project.

Develop relationships with the design team and clients

Develop relationships, quality, and the range of the supply chain

Identification of areas of risk and opportunity

Highlight conflict and deficiencies within contract documentation

Produce the Estimating handover information

Support and promote collaborative working both internally & externally

Maintain a level of technical expertise

Maintain current cost data

Obtain feedback from the construction departments on tenders

Be pro-active in resolving queries and technical issues

Strive for continuous improvement in both technical ability and financial acumen.

Safeguard the company against risk through identification and elimination

Accuracy and reliability of scheme measures.
