A Dayton Turbine Manufacturer is in need of a Project Estimator.

Responsibilities:

• Research costs: Research the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and transport

• Gather quotes: Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

• Create estimates: Create detailed price lists and cost summaries for projects

• Prepare bids: Compile bids for work and present them to clients

• Manage projects: Oversee projects to ensure costs are on track

• Communicate: Communicate with construction managers, planners, design teams, and clients

• Use software: Use computer software to analyze data, weigh risks, and compile reports

• Stay up to date: Keep up with inflation, exchange rates, and construction technology

• Assess risk: Assess and adhere to health and safety requirements and risk assessments

• Make recommendations: Provide recommendations for reducing costs
