Job Description

Our client is a well-established construction company specializing in refurbishments across North West London is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in estimating for refurbishment projects to contribute to the growth and success of a leading firm in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for refurbishment projects across North West London.

\n

• Review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work.

\n

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotations and ensure the most competitive pricing.

\n

• Ensure estimates are submitted on time and are in line with client expectations and budget requirements.

\n

• Analyze project risks, potential cost savings, and value engineering options.

\n

• Work closely with project managers and the commercial team to ensure seamless project delivery.

\n

• Maintain and update a database of costs and market rates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness in future estimates.

\n

• Prepare tender submissions and attend pre-tender meetings.

\n

Key Requirements:

\n

\n
• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a focus on refurbishment projects.

\n

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and refurbishment processes.

\n

• Familiarity with relevant estimating software and tools.

\n

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

\n

• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.

\n

• Good communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

\n

• A relevant qualification (e.g., HNC, degree in Quantity Surveying, or similar) is desirable but not essential.

\n
