Job Description: An Auto Body Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage following a collision, determines the necessary repairs and provides a detailed estimate to customers and insurance companies. They also ensure the repair process is properly priced and communicated throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles. Utilize industry-standard estimating software to calculate the cost of repairs. Explain repair estimates clearly to customer, address concerns and answer questions regarding the repair during the repair process. Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate repair costs and ensure accurate claim processing. Coordinate with parts department to order required parts for repairs. Maintain detailed repair documentation, including photographs, damage reports and repair orders. Monitor repair quality to ensure all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Must have a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures, body panel alignment and collision repair techniques. Must have experience using CCC One estimating software. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and insurance adjusters. Must have the ability to analyze vehicle damage, identify necessary repairs and accurately estimate repair costs. Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate damage assessment and repair planning. Must have a valid driver's license to test drive vehicles and inspect damage.
