Estimator (MEICA)

Job Description

We are working with a top tier client who are seeking a Estimator with MEICA experience to be responsible for developing estimates and tenders for MEICA-related projects. You will drive projects through the estimating and tendering process through to contract award and continue to advise through the progress of the projects.\nBenefits:\n * Generous holiday entitlement\n * Vehicle allowance or company car\n * Company events\n * Life Assurance\n * And much more!\nResponsibilities:\n * Ensure designs are checked and verified and can sufficently be developed to ensure accurate tender submissions.\n * Production of the MEICA cost estimate for tender submission.\n * Risk and value management during the tender period.\n * Preparing budgets and cost plans.\n * Developing the scope of work for the project with the MEICA team.\n * Communicate clearly and effectively with senior management, designers, consultants, clients and project teams on all relevant technical matters.\n * Experience of MEICA equipment and services using in construction of Water and Wastewater Treatment Works is preferable.\nWhat do we need from you?\n * Previous experience in a similar position around the estimating disciplines of MEICA, as a Mechanial or Electrical Estimator / Proposals Engineer / Civils Estimator.\n * Experience of estimating in the Water / Watsewater sector.\n * MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) installation/commissioning knowledge as well as technical construction knowledge.\nThe salary is indicative and based on experience
