Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

This job advertisement is for a position as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a specialist subcontractor based in Rotherham, offering a salary range of £35,000 to £50,000, plus a car allowance or company car.

Job Role & Responsibilities:



Work closely with the Director to cost projects.

Split role with 50% Estimating and 50% Quantity Surveying.

Prepare estimates and submit tenders to main contractors or clients.

Attend client meetings and site visits to scope projects and build relationships.

Manage site costs to ensure completion within budget.

Complete cost value reports and final accounts.

Provide value engineering and technical advice to clients.

Attend site meetings from project inception to handover.

Required Knowledge/Experience:



Proven experience as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor.

Experience in a commercial position.

Construction qualification but not essential.

Good IT skills.

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Full UK driving license required.
