Immediate start for the right person Be part of a high achieving business Play a key part in account management and estimation The Company A well-known joinery business is looking to hire a superstar Estimator to run the residential joinery and cabinet making projects across QLD. The role As a Residential Joinery Estimator, you will be solely responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of joinery and cabinetry projects in the residential industry. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial part in ensuring the companies success in following up on inbound leads and converting these to sales. You will be responsible for managing 4 builders, conducting colour consultations, performing check measures and so on. You will Interpret and analyse architectural drawings, specifications and client requirements to develop accurate cost estimates Research and source materials, labour, sub-contractor pricing to generate detailed estimates Collaborate with internal project managers to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities for the business Prepare and submit tender documents and proposals to clients Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing and regulations Provide support and guidance to the broader estimating team Utilise your residential joinery estimating experience within the construction industry Apply your strong understanding of joinery materials, methods and cost drivers Demonstrate your proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications Use your strong numerical and analytical skills What we offer Immediate starts are availablefor the right person Be paid a competitive salary - relevant to your experience Chance for progression within our businessonce your talent has been displayed Join a long standing business that has been operating for over 3 decades!
