Location: Kent Type: Full-time Industry: Construction and Scaffolding Responsibilities Cost Management: Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting. Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Project Evaluation: Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. Tendering: Prepare and evaluate tender documents and negotiate contracts. Measurement and Valuation: Perform accurate measurements and valuations. Claims Management: Handle claims for additional work and disputes resolution. Cost Reporting: Provide regular cost updates to management. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior staff. Commercial Experience Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quantity surveying, with scaffolding experience. Skills: Proficient in industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project), strong analytical and communication skills, proven leadership abilities.
