Estimator Trainee - Commercial Construction/Architectural Manufacturing company located in Northwest Houston

OVERVIEW:

Seeking a recent graduate, or early career candidate, who is looking for career growth and stability. The desired candidate will have excellent math skills, previous estimating experience, and ideally have prior industry experience within Commercial Construction. The position works directly with the design team and the fabrication shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ability to read blueprints for custom projects

· Gather project proposals and necessary documentation

· Creating accurate bids for customers

· Ability to communicate and gather labor, time and material requirements

· Train and report directly to the Chief Estimator

REQUIREMENTS:

· Highly proficient math skills

· High School diploma or equivalent required

· Bachelor’s degree in construction science (or related field) is preferred

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

· Must be able to read blueprints and CAD drawings

· Previous estimating experience is preferred

· Can not have any physical limitations

· Willing to be trained; coachable

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

$18-$23/HR. (DOE)

MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-4PM
