EV Project Manager - Construction\n\nLondon (Hybrid role but must be able to commute to London)\n\n£65K Starting Salary & Bonus & EV Vehicle\n\nThe Client\n\nOur client is a market leading provider of EV infrastructure on commercial projects across the UK. This client is a true market leader within the fleet arm of EV and due to growth are on the market to expand by bringing onboard an experienced Project Manager to support with upcoming projects. You will report to our Head of Delivery, and work closely with the wider team to participate in the project concept, development, software and O&M requirements and take full responsibility for ensuring bid/contract Governance compliance.\n\nThe Role & Duties\n\n * Independently oversee, manage, and deliver a portfolio of projects with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, customer communication, commercial activity, programme management, reporting and optimisation.\n\n * Work closely with development team to ensure development activity is compliant to client requirement for any assigned project and ready to be used for bid purposes.\n\n * Responsible for contract letting for related portfolio contracts, negotiation, contractual programme and identifying contractor.\n\n * Working with commercial, take responsibility for construction contract agreement and signing both upstream and downstream.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring client approval of any detailed design.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring all pre-mobilisation activity is completed in relation to CDM compliance.\n\n * Ensuring the appointed CDM contractor is mobilising to program and managing all 3rd parties associated with project.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring legal support required for offsite activity in relation to wayleaves is running as per project timeline.\n\n * Responsible for delivering project associated governance activity during construction.\n\n * Responsible for delivering internal project reporting activity during construction.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring that a snagging register is initiated and managed for the duration of the construction Responsible for management of Technical Query process and ensuring all queries are formalised and instruction adopted and as built drawings updated.\n\n * Working with commercial, responsible for management of compensation event log, activity schedule compliance and milestone payment activity during construction\n\n * Responsible for ensuring safety walk round is completed and project handover is documented, and warranty period initiated.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring any project associated close out governance is completed.\n\nRequirements\n\n * 2-3 years’ experience of working within the EV sector\n\n * NVQ Level 3 Is advantageous\n\n * 2391\n\n * JIB Gold\n\n * SMSTS\n\n * Full clean drivers licence
