POSITION TYPE: Full Time Exempt - 40 hour work week

Our heart is to bring transformation to every life through the power of Jesus Christ. The LifeFamily Event Sales & Operations Manager plays a vital role in conveying and facilitating this vision and mission through leadership, management and oversight of all events at LifeFamily campuses.
We are seeking an experienced Event Sales and Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, as well as drive sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, sales, and operations, with the ability to lead a team, manage client relationships, and ensure seamless event delivery.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive event revenue and meet sales targets

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships

Manage event operations, including logistics, staffing, and vendor coordination

Oversee the planning and execution of events to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key accounts

Build, Lead, mentor, and manage a team of event operations and sales staff

Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and drive attendance
-
Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control
-
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve event offerings
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)

Proven experience in event management, sales, and operations, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Proficiency in event management software and CRM tools

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Willingness to travel as required

Ability to lift/carry, up to approximately 50 pounds occasionally may be required

Ability to travel by car to/from LifeFamily campuses, church house and venues

Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks while standing/walking for long
periods of time (60 minutes or more)

Hours
● Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm
● Flex time for Events
● Participate in church services and events as needed
