Join Wolter and put your expertise to work as a Journeyman Field Technician specializing in generators. If you're a highly skilled professional with at least 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel, gasoline, LPG, or natural gas-powered equipment, we want you on our team! This role is critical in ensuring our customers experience minimal downtime and receive top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair industrial engines and generator systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Communicate with the Lead Engine Technician regarding complex service issues.
• Maintain detailed service records and submit paperwork daily.
• Stay current on technical training and certifications for the equipment we support.
• Foster positive customer relationships and identify sales opportunities when applicable.
• Always follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with generators and industrial engines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and diagnostics.
• Must own necessary tools as outlined in our recommended tool list.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and work in various environmental conditions.
