External Site Manager

Job DescriptionExternal Site Manager - South London 

A major residential regeneration project in Southwark, transforming a historic site into a vibrant community. The development consists of multiple buildings, featuring high-quality homes, modern amenities, and landscaped communal areas.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in external trades to oversee the external works on a large-scale residential project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the building envelope, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety standards.

Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate external construction activities, including masonry brickwork, SFS, and façade installations.

\n

• Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure all external works meet required standards.

\n

• Manage the use of mast climbers and other equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

\n

• Lead and supervise subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

\n

• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues.

\n

• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any concerns related to external works.

\n

 Experience:

\n
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically in managing external works on large-scale residential projects.

\n

• Strong background in masonry brickwork, SFS, façade systems, and the use of mast climbers.

\n

• Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance processes in construction.

\n

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

\n

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

\n

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

\n

• Confident IT user, able to work on the tablet 

\n

• SMSTS, Black CSCS card, First Aid, NVQ level
