Assist the fabrication team in their mission to improve quality and efficiency. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to work on various programming tasks related to both existing and new machinery, including water jet and CNC machines. As we continue integrating these advanced manufacturing technologies into our fabrication process, the will gain hands on experience in programming, optimization, and troubleshooting within these systems. Their key deliverables will include developing and refining programs to improve efficiency and precision in our operations.

Areas of focus may include but are not limited to:

  • CAD Design and Drafting
  • CAM Programming
  • Manufacturing Process Optimization
  • Evaluate Raw materials.
  • Calculate the usage rate/consumption rate of goods
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, particularly machine efficiency and cost reductions, utilizing data-driven methods.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, Knowledge

  • Enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Graduating in Winter of 2025 or Spring of 2026
  • Course of study must be related to role
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Desired software experience: CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), CNC programming, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
  • Ability to respond to change in a positive manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong desire to learn new skills
  • High degree of professionalism; inclusive and collaborative work style

Work Environment

Office and warehouse/fabrication environment

Physical demands may include but are not limited to:

Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; light lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Potential travel in Texas

Exemption Status

Non-exempt

**Pay will be determined based on education level.

  • Junior - $22/hour
  • Senior - $23/hour
