Job Description:

Carlson Brigance & Doering, a leading engineering firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Engineer to join our team. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in water storage/transmission and/or wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and develop treatment facilities, lift stations, pump stations, storage facilities, and transmission/distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety codes.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation to support project goals and objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (required).
  • Proven experience in water storage, transmission, and/or wastewater treatment.
  • Expertise in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including design and management of treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
