We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated technician to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in a downtown Rockford commercial office building. This is a direct hire opportunity, ideal for someone with strong building systems knowledge and excellent communication skills to interact with tenants. Hours: Mornings, 25 hoursPay: $20-$30/hour DOEBenefits: Part-time position – no benefits availableFacilities Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Inspection of grounds to identify maintenance needs
• Perform groundskeeping and landscaping upkeep
• Handle plumbing and lighting repairs
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance work
• Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to emergencies

Facilities Maintenance Requirements:

• Previous experience in facility maintenance with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to do basic electrical repairs
• A problem solver who can work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
