POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities/Maintenance Associate will be responsible for custodial care of buildings including entrances, lobby, restrooms, office areas, conference rooms, and kitchen/lunchroom. The ideal candidate will have prior relevant experience, be detail-oriented, take pride in their work, and support a positive and fun working environment. Depending on their experience, there might be other projects such as light PM’s, painting, etc.

Reports to: Senior Manager of Manufacturing

Location: Eden Prairie, MN in Office

Starting Wage Information: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Vacuum all carpeted surfaces (Weekly)
• Empty all trash containers (twice a week)
• Dust window frames, horizontal surfaces, furniture, picture frames/ partition tops (Monthly)
• Clean all interior windows (quarterly)
• Clean all common areas for dust/debris
• Sweep and mop restroom floors and other hard floor surfaces
• Clean and sanitize all restroom fixtures, clean mirrors, polish chrome, refill dispensers (Daily)
• Clean and sanitize lunchroom sinks and counters. Clean microwaves inside and out. Maintain refrigerator cleanliness. Maintain general cleanliness of the lunchroom area (Daily)
• Clean and organize conference rooms (weekly)
• Clean and disinfect drinking fountains (daily)
• Clean and shampoo carpets (quarterly)
• Manufacturing and lunchroom floor care, scrub areas as needed or quarterly
• Maintain areas outside the building as needed including shoveling, salting walkways, and general cleanup
• Set up food and beverage tables for meetings in conference rooms or lunchroom
• Maintain stock and advise on ordering refreshments/ supplies in the breakroom
• Some light PM’s and/or projects (painting) are possible Assist Technician Associate with repairs and preventive maintenance
• Act as a Beacon liaison with suppliers for restocking of garments, restroom supplies, lunchroom supplies, etc.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies
• Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English required
• Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Entry level computer proficiency

Work Environment

• The noise level in the manufacturing area is moderate
• No travel required

Work Authorization

• The candidate must meet the definition of “US Person” under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time, on-site position
• Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday 6am – 3:30pm and Friday 6am – 11am, but does allow for some flexibility
• Overtime may be needed
