We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team at a prominent, faith-based university in Tulsa, OK. This is a leadership role where exceptional people skills are required to manage a multi- team. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for managing a team of 30 Maintenance Technicians across 41 buildings, including administrative offices and student dorms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of managing large, complex properties and experience in overseeing maintenance operations across a variety of technical disciplines, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, and Repair. Experience with boilers is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of 41 buildings, including administrative and student dormitory spaces.
- Oversee short- and long-term planning for maintenance, construction/renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, groundskeeping, janitorial services, and more.
- Develop and implement technical solutions that meet client needs and drive key performance indicators.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, safety systems, and other essential building systems.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities for the maintenance team to enhance performance, efficiency, and safety standards.

Position Summary:
This role will oversee the operation and maintenance of the university's facilities, which may include space planning, janitorial services, building security, mail services, and grounds management. You will ensure the proper functioning of mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
- Management Experience: 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Functional Experience: 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, including managing large properties and technical systems.
Must Have:
- Experience with boiler repair and maintenance.
- Proven experience managing large, complex properties and leading teams of maintenance technicians in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.
- At least 3 years of Management experience.
- At least 3 years of Functional experience in facilities maintenance.
