As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for a range of premises including buildings, shed, offices, assembly blocks, cabins and also road infrastructure.\n \nThis is a permanent position from day one. The role is available due to an internal promotion.\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nResponsible for the upkeep and repair of various building and infrastructure found within a large land estate area \nDelivery planning, organisation of works and overseeing the execution of proposed works \nManaging external 3rd party site contractors such as roofers, plumbers, commercial electricians, door specialists, etc \nUtilising CDM regulations for building inspections and delivery works \nResponsible for overseeing civils work within activities centring around drainage, water/legionella, asbestos, etc \nResponsible for the delivery of site electricity, gas supplies, fibre broadband and phone communication systems \nOverseeing maintenance activities based around site horticultural activities \nCompleting RAM’s and safe systems of work \nOrdering consumables for site amenities \nBuying materials for desired works and raising purchase orders – working to deliver efficiencies within purchasing \nManaging a small team, directing operations, prioritising and progressing works \nAttending H&S meetings and ensuring compliance through facilities management \nCompleting and documenting paperwork centring on compliance \nActing as a key holder for premises \nTHE PERSON\n\nExperienced delivering facilities/premises maintenance \nKnowledge of CDM regulations and civils knowledge \nA completer finisher to see jobs through from planning to execution \nAbility to work to deadlines \nSelf-drive \nTeam work \nAdaptable nature \nAbility to use computer systems, ideally SAP software \nH&S knowledge and compliance focused \nStrong organisational skills \nAbility to manage and lead a small team \nAble to produce safe systems of work and RAM’s \nTO APPLY\n\nPlease send your updated CV to Harry Mann or apply direct by calling Westray Recruitment Group
