Aquinas Consulting is seeking to fill a Factory Operations Manager job for our client in NH. This role oversees manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, and purchasing, driving continuous improvement initiatives and aligning operations with customer requirements.

Factory Operations Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning for manufacturing functions.
• Develop and implement plans, budgets, policies, and procedures to optimize factory operations.
• Analyze customer demand vs. existing capacity, implementing changes to improve delivery, cost, and quality.
• Identify and address manufacturing variances, implementing corrective actions to enhance margins.
• Improve standard costs, assign and measure effectiveness of productivity projects.
• Use DMAIC processes to resolve delivery and quality constraints, ensuring continuous improvements.
• Assess workforce skills, implement training programs, and ensure workforce readiness.
• Drive lean manufacturing, eliminating waste and redundancies.
• Lead capacity planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting.
• Collaborate with product launch teams for new product introductions.
• Ensure year-over-year improvements in productivity, financial performance, and safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business; advanced degree .
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership.
• Strong project leadership, organizational, and financial analysis skills.
• Expertise in Operations Management, quality methods, and Statistical Process Control.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, or DMAIC methodologies.
• Proven leadership skills with employee relations and team management experience.
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Information Systems, Inventory Management, and MRP II concepts.
