Faculty Position in Hydraulic Engineering

The Civil Engineering Department at Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología – UTEC, in Lima, Peru, is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty position in Hydraulic Engineering. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s degree. Ph.D. completed or near completion in Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, or Water Resources. 3-5 years of professional experience. Advanced proficiency in English. Advanced skills in office software tools. Proficiency in programming tools. Areas of Specialization: Hydraulic structures, Sediment transport and geomorphology, Water and its interconnections, Natural infrastructure or Coastal engineering. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in designing undergraduate and graduate courses in Environmental Engineering. Experience coordinating classes and part-time faculty. Supervision of undergraduate thesis students. Research experience in Environmental Engineering. Ability to build and maintain relationships with national and international, governmental, and private entities related to their areas of expertise.
