Functieomschrijving Develop calibrations for diagnosing FIE-related issues in heavy-duty diesel engines.Design diagnostic calibration strategies to maintain OBD compliance.Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure standards are understood, implemented, and followed.Ensure the development and validation of the OBD system follow established process guidelines.Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize processes and documentation.Translate OBD regulations to ensure compliance with OBD regulations and product specifications. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering.Knowledge of internal combustion engines is mandatory, with a preference for diesel engines.At least basic knowledge of OBD regulation and systems.Detailed knowledge of FIE systems and their interaction with engine behavior is preferred.Familiarity with SAE 1939-71/73 CAN is optional.Ability to quickly understand complex and abstract issues.Structured working approach with a strong preference for teamwork.Enthusiasm for dealing with complex systems and solving technical problems.Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and organizations.Proficiency in MS Office and Matlab is mandatory.Good command of the English language, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
