Field and Filter Technician
Job DescriptionJob Description
The Field and Filter Technician will visit customers in the field to review filter performance, conduct on-site training, filter system start-up, and assist in setting up on-site filter trials. Estimated travel is 3 to 4 times per month. As a Filter Technician in the shop, duties include saw cutting, assembly of large filter systems, hydrostatic testing, and quality control.
The candidate should have strong communication skills, be mechanically inclined with a background in maintenance activities, knowledge of controls systems is a plus. Candidate must be willing to travel. Travel mostly within 6 hours of the shop.
Technician Requirements
o 5 years of mechanical and maintenance experience.
o Customer support experience including interaction with customers.
o Interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
o Ability to perform basic arithmetic as well as a good understanding of shop math.
o Clean driving record.
