Field Auto Electrician - Projects
About the role Reporting to the Project Field Supervisors, this role will be responsible for the provision of the safe, efficient and compliant low voltage electrical installs, modification, testing, diagnostics, commissioning and reporting for new machine assemblies. Working in our Project Team you will be assembling Liebherr Mining excavators, dozers and trucks in the Field on our Customer Sites & also assisting with new machine assemblies at our Perth Build Pad. We are looking to appoint a responsible and proactive employee who is capable of working both independently and within our Team. Duties Inspect plant and equipment for conformity Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals Design, install and test electrical/electronic equipment Repair Vehicle/Plant Electrical Components including diagnostic analysis on electrical systems Develop electrical local option standard actions for new machine installs Perform modifications to wiring looms and electrical components Assist our Build team to build a variety of Mining equipment to Clients Specifications, such as Mining Trucks, Dozers & Excavators from 100T – 800T Skills & experience A Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30312) Liebherr mining equipment experience or previous OEM experience preferred Current drivers’ licence Ability to work on mechanical equipment Benefits Corporate Health Insurance | Novated Lease | Travel Club Liebherr One Hub – Employee discount portal for great savings Financial stability | annual reviews | service & manager rewards | career progression Technical Training programs and opportunities to ensure your continued growth Soft skills and Leadership training programs Diversity and Inclusion Diversity and Inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group’s Core Values.
