Field Engineer Specialist
:Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance as well as telephone support of the PDX products.Properly report the service activity through the company's integrated management system. Must be proficient with the use of customer management software to track service calls, lead parts inventories, and complete job tasks, ensuring customer database accuracy.Keep control of the stock of spare parts, coordinating and performing stock counts when required.Carry out specific projects, task or reports commissioned by his manager.Keep the Technical Service management informed of issues and support needs.Attend national and international training courses as required..Must be customer-focused, working in conjunction with applications and sales teams.Minimum qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, electrical, mechanical, electronics or related field.3+ years of technical field service experience.Customer friendliness and a professional demeanor.Experience in the medical equipment industry, preferably in clinical analyzers, will be an advantage.Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience in electronics, mechanics and computing and the ability to solve be valued.PC literacy including MS Office and Outlook.Intermediate level of English.Essential Functions and Physical Requirements:Ability to safely move heavy devices (70 Kg) with assistance on occasion.Ability to safely lift and carry 10-15 Kg continuously throughout the day.Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and reach every day in a service function.Maintain a valid car driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 50,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
