Field HSE Specialist

The Field HSE Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures specific to field environments. Reporting into the Product and Service Delivery (PSD) Manager, he/she will be required to manage all HSE responsibilities in the field. Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures specific to offshore environments. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. Provide guidance and support to offshore personnel on HSE protocols and best practices. Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Collaborate with PSDs and offshore teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness. Coordinate emergency response drills and exercises. Conduct HSE training sessions for offshore staff. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry, with3 - 5 years experience in offshore operations In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations and practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Needs to be proficient in communicating in English as candidate will need to communicate with internal SLB and external customer. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) preferred. SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
