Field Mechanical/Electrical Service Technician

Overview: The ideal candidate will have a background in Customer Service, Troubleshooting, Equipment installation, Fabrication, with the knowledge and ability to effectively function within a small business environment. The individual will have responsibilities in the areas of Customer Service, Field Service, Start-ups, Quality Assurance, In-house materials and equipment testing. They will also work closely with our Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering Departments.

Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience functioning as a team member.
• Must be able to work within Foremost and Customer’s Safety guidelines.
• Candidate will have strong Customer Service background.
• Candidate must be able to develop strong customer relations.
• Must be able to understand mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background.
• Must have hands-on experience in PLC downloading, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Must have experience troubleshooting digital I/Os.
• Must understand ladder logic.
• Must be able and willing to perform Quality inspections.
• Must be able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Must be able and willing to maintain pertaining documentation/records.
• Plastics industry equipment, manufacturing, and R & D experience a plus.
• Must be able and willing to travel within the USA up to 50% of time.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
