Field Operator - Pipeline Services (PPS)

Others services offered are, hydro-testing Water injection and enhanced oil recovery, and decommissioning services We can package these services together to manage the entire pre-commissioning process. This optimizes the utilization of people and equipment, reducing overall cost, decreasing time to system start-up. As an Operator at Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining nitrogen pumping equipment and systems. You will work closely with the team to ensure efficient and safe operations while meeting customer requirements. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating nitrogen pumping equipment and systems in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Performing pre and post-job equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Assisting with the setup, rigging, and dismantling of equipment as required
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment performance, identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Following standard operating procedures for nitrogen pumping operations
• Collaborating with the team to ensure job requirements are met and customer expectations are exceeded
• Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team
• Completing all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have previous experience operating nitrogen pumping equipment is preferred
• Have basic knowledge of oilfield operations and equipment
• Have strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
• Have an excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and withstand outdoor working conditions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to withstand exposure to extreme weather conditions
