Drawing inspiration from its rich heritage as an inventor company, Baker Hughes harnesses the passion and expertise of its people to improve productivity throughout the entire oil and gas value chain. Partner with the best As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop, can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, as well as training of junior operators. As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for:Carrying out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches and surface equipmentConducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillarsFollowing established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity, performing basic duties at the wellsite and at the shopServicing of mechanical devices, building both Open Hole and Cased Hole cableheads.Managing to rig up and down wellsite equipment including pressure control equipment and Crew supervision, Inventory management, Material orderingHoisting in different situations such as fishing operations, coring operations, testing operations and deploying tools in deviated wells and through PCE, PCL/TPL/TLC, Cable Splicing, Cable Spooling capabilitiesManaging all job-related paperwork and records for self and assigned crewApplying Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintainedFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have 7+ years of relevant work experience and atleast 3 years experience required on either compact shuttle & drop off, through bit logging, signum through bit logging or other relevant technology.Have proven experience working as a wireline service delivery and field operation onshore and offshoreHave a proven safety focus and valid HMV driving license as well experience on driving HMVHave a sound mechanical aptitude, technically sound and ability to cater operational requirements and deploymentHave good communication skills and be a team playerBe willing to travel to wellsite’s across India and ready to work onshore and offshoreWork in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
