Role Overview: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 8-10 New Business Sales. Your primary focus will be to drive new business sales, ensuring the team meets and exceeds targets. You'll be a strategic thinker, developing sales plans and providing guidance and support to your team to achieve their goals. Additionally, you'll play a key role in recruiting and training new sales talents. The team are remote based across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 New Business Sales Representatives, setting clear performance objectives and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Monitor team performance and sales metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align sales strategies with lead generation efforts.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new team members to ensure their success and integration into the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide recommendations for career development and advancement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in managing B2B sales teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Manager role.
  • MUST be managing field based new business sales professionals.
  • You must have management experience of sales teams selling software.
  • An interest in the tech side of software - keen to gain knowledge and understanding.
