Field Service Engineer

Contek Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a client that specialises in the sale and service of a variety of CNC machinery for the Engineering industry. Due to company growth, our client are now looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.



As part of the Field Service Team, you will provide on-site service and support to existing customers, by providing timely, quality repair and maintenance of gear cutting machinery. This position plays a key role in ensuring their customers experience reliability and superior customer service.



WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER EXPERIENCED MANUAL MACHINISTS WHO HAVE A KNOWLEDGE OF CNC MACHINING, WHO WOULD LIKE TO TRANSITION INTO A FIELD-BASED ROLE.



Successful candidates will have experience in performing repair and maintenance to mechanical equipment or machinery. This role is a field-based position covering UK-wide travel and some international travel for training when the role requires it.



Requirements



* Must have experience servicing, maintaining or installing CNC machinery.



* Valid UK driving licence and passport



* The ability to travel Nationwide and to the factory in Germany or Switzerland for training.



* Experience delivering strong customer service



* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.



Working Hours: Monday - Friday (39 hours per week)



Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per year (Depending on experience)



Overtime: Overtime is available at time and a half.



Other: Company car and fuel card is provided, along with a lunch allowance of £7 per day, and a dinner allowance of £18 per day.
