Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineers (FSE) are field-based positions responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, repair, or troubleshooting of medical devices within their territory/region. HOME BASED UK ROLE



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan installation of devices and repairs by liaising with in-house field support team.

Provide optimal customer satisfaction on all products lines and services.

Install, repair, perform preventive maintenance, and retrofit instrument products.

Support customers on the operational aspects of the instrument, equipment, and

software.

Complete and submit all Regulatory and company required documentation.

Provide remote diagnosis/repair support when needed.

Relay field repetitive failures/issues to Field Implementation Team and management staff.

Ensure that all repair parts are on site when needed and all related CRM transactions are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.

Test repaired instruments in all operating modes per specification.

Maintain inventory accountability for all parts, tools, and calibrated equipment.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education gained through work experiences.

Previous field service experience in the medical device industry.

Self-motivated individual with strong desire to exceed personal and company goals.

Strong team player with flexible attitude to work priorities.

Ability to manage expenses, travel arrangements and customer management

PC, server, and network integration experience.

Skilled in instrument operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent Customer Service skills

Computer skills (MS Office applications), basic networking knowledge & ability to

perform virtual communication tasks.

Be able to lift/carry 60 lbs.

Ability to travel overnight – up to 80% (some weekend travel).

Clean and safe driving record
