Right Now Group are currently partnered with an leader who are recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Devon region after a continued period of sustained growth.

Ideal Experience:

\n

· Electrical Engineering background or relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds - NVQ or equivalent

\n

· Previously Field Service Engineering Experience

\n

· Experience in Repairing or Installing Catering, Kitchen, white goods, Industrial Equipment or domestic goods i.e. Microwaves, Ovens etc.

\n

IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.

\n

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

\n

Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)

\n

· Saturday's to be paid at time and a half

\n

· Sundays to be paid at double time

\n

Salary: £30k-£35k

\n

Role Type: Full - Time Permanent

\n

Location: Exeter/Plymouth/Newquay/Torquay/Taunton - Devon region

\n

Job responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realising opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer

\n

• Install, maintain and survey high end Catering/Kitchen appliances

\n

• Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation

\n

• Complete paperwork accurately and on time

\n

• Provide support required for internal and external customers

\n

• Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role

\n

• Service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs

\n

\n

Desirable skills:

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role

\n

• Previous experience in repairing or installing Electrical kitchen appliances, microwaves, ovens, cookers, or industrial equipment

\n

• Electrical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of Electronics/Electrical engineering

\n

• Experience in working out on the road from a van or car

\n

• Good people/customer service skills

\n

• Flexible approach to working hours and days

\n

• Able to work under pressure

\n

• Have good problem-solving acumen

\n

• Able to both work independently and also as part of a team
