Experience Required: 3 - 15 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory equipment (including hematology, chemistry, coagulation analyzers, and automated robotic lab instrumentation). This role requires strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair medical laboratory analyzers and automated robotic lab equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service.
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Manage car inventory, including tools, spare parts, and equipment.
- Provide on-site training for customers on instrument operation.
- Must be willing to travel overnight as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Field Service Engineer.
- Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.
- Prior experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
