Field Service Engineer

We are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a global provider of semiconductor equipment.



This is a Field role, where you can expect to spend approximately 90% of your time travelling throughout the EMEA, UK and on occasions US, territory to support customers.



You will work onsite at customers facilities, where you will perform installations, upgrades of systems and software, maintenance, breakdown and repairs.



When in your office at home, or on the road, you will also respond to customer queries and troubleshoot problems over the phone.



Working with your customers, you will report back to Engineering or Support and Upgrade Teams any experiences, requirements or issues highlighted during your visits.

Experience:



Previous Service / Installation / Maintenance experience, ideally working with semiconductor equipment is required. Experience in similar high technology electronic/instrumentation sector may also be considered.



You should be able to read electrical and mechanical schematics, fault find and implement corrective actions.



Qualifications:



Ideally you should hold an HNC or Degree in an Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering Discipline.



Additional Information:



The position requires extensive, frequent travel (ca 90%), therefore you MUST be prepared to regularly travel and stay away from home. (Mainly UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa)



Candidates MUST have a Full Clean UK driving licence.



Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
