We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in South East for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. \n\nSummary of the Field Service Engineer role\n\nSalary: Competitive plus car/van etc. \nLocation: South East England with travel into Central London \nType of Contract: Permanent, Full time \nHours: Monday – Friday, overtime after 45 hours\nBenefits: Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Cycle to work scheme, Optical Eye care reimbursement.\n\nDisclaimer: Our client is looking for someone to work across the south of England so you must be based south of the River Thames and be happy to travel into central London at least 3 days per week.\n\nResponsibilities of the Field Service Engineer\n\nInstall, maintain and repair company equipment on client sites\nCarry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities\nDiagnose & troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical & electrical systems including computer control systems\nSupport with administrative requirements\nForge good working relationships with all customers, other engineers and members of the Service Department\nRequirements for a successful Field Service Engineer\n\nMechanical and Electrical Engineering experience, including fault finding to mechanical component level.\nUnderstanding of computer systems and electronic controls is essential.\nA qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering \nPrint or print finishing background would be an advantage.\nExcellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills\nPaper handling skills would be an advantage\nA full, clean UK driver's license\nAllstaff Recruitment is an Independent Recruitment Specialist based in Bedfordshire who work on behalf of companies across Bedford, Milton Keynes and surrounds to fill their vacancies and meet their recruitment needs.
