Field Service Engineer (Auto Electrics) - Contract \n \nEmployment type: Contract, Full-Time - Outside IR35\n \nContract Length: Ongoing however this is estimated to last 12 months\n \nLocation: Ideally you will be located in the Merseyside/Cheshire region. This will give good access to cover sites across the North West.\n \nPay rate: £27.00 per hour LTD company rate (Umbrella also available).\nOvertime @ X 1.5 - Door to door pay. Basic pay equates to £58,320 per annum (allowing for 4 weeks holiday)\n \nExpenses: Fuel claimed back at 45 pence per mile.
Any other business-related expenses will be covered as agreed.\n \nHours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times can vary however typical hours would be evenings 3PM-11PM Monday-Friday.\n \nAre you an Engineer with auto electrical experience and looking for your next contract position?\n \nWe are seeking an Engineer to join our client's team at a pivotal time in the company's journey as they evolve to meet the future safety needs of buses and coaches. The successful candidate will be eager to learn an interesting role involving mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to fault find.
You will predominantly survey and install Electrical kits to buses and coaches. You will work on a self-employed basis through your own Ltd company. If you do not have your own Ltd company, then there are Umbrella solutions available.
\n \nThe Role:\n\nTravel to customers' sites to conduct installation surveys on buses and coaches.\nThoroughly complete all necessary installation survey paperwork.\nCarry out the initial installation in accordance with the manufacturers' guidelines, including making any required electrical connections.\nTest and calibrate the equipment to ensure optimum performance.\nWork efficiently to ensure the tasks are completed within the specified timeframe.\nMaintain a strong focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety, continuously striving for improvement and working without compromise to meet our customers' needs.\nExperience Required:\n\nKnowledge on auto electrics and electrical wiring on vehicles is but domestic electrical knowledge might be considered.\nMust have own transport (Van or Car) to be able to travel to the depots listed at the top of the advert.\nAble to use a variety of hand tools, such as a multimeter.\nAble to supply own basic tools, specialist tools will be provided.\nBasic IT skills for inputting data into a system.\nFlexibility with start and finish times as most work will be in the evenings when buses are back at the depot.\nFull UK Driving Licence\nIf you meet the above criteria, please apply today to be considered for the role.\n \nKeywords: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Auto Electrician, Auto Electrics, Engine Technician, Vehicle Engineer, Car Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Automotive Electrical Engineer, Bus Mechanic, Coach Mechanic, Contract Engineer, Self Employed Engineer, Electrical Engineer
