Field Engineer for BESS - Battery Energy Storage Systems

Rate- up to £45 per hour, outside IR35
\n
Contract length- 4 weeks initially
\n
Hours of work- Ideally Monday to Sunday
\n
\n
Our client urgently requires Battery Field Engineers to work on the installation of a new battery energy storage system (BESS). You will be responsible for commissioning and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
\n
The client can have you start immediately or by Monday 24th February.
\n
Experience with as many of the following would be desirable but not essential: 18th Edition, CSCS/ECS, 5-point PPE, Arc Flash PPE (Class 2), BESS systems, Sungrow PCS/SBMS/Batteries, and VDE (1000V) hand tools.

Skills required:

- \nNVQ level 3 C&G 2365 Installation & maintenance of electrotechnical systems (or equivalent)\n
- \nC&G 2381-18 (BS7671:2018)
\n
\n
\n
Desirable skills:
\n
- \n
- \nC&G 2381-18 (BS7671:2018+2022 (A2 desired)
- \nC&G 2391-52 Initial & periodic electrical inspection & testing
- \nHVM High Voltage Maintenance.
- \nHVAP High Voltage Authorised Person
