Our client is a leader in product decoration, specializing in digital printing. They are looking for a full-time Field Service Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment to join their team. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right candidate, with the chance to work on advanced digital printers like Mimaki and Mutoh wide format flatbed printers, as well as a specialized line of rotary digital printers.





Position Overview:





The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining continuous operation of digital printing equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, software, and print application issues. This role requires a methodical approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to see , essential for print quality control.





Key Responsibilities:





Prepare, test, and maintain digital printing machinery at the factory.





Install, train customers, and provide post-installation remote support for machinery.





Maintain a clean and organized work area.





Document machine maintenance history accurately.





Communicate clearly with management and customers.





Apply training and technical knowledge to work practices.





Qualifications:





Must bring energy and passion to the job every day.





Experience with print decoration methods (pad print, screen print) is a plus.





Ability to see is required.





Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.





Travel required for installation, training, and customer maintenance visits, as well as potential tradeshow support.





Associate’s degree , but not required.





Computer literacy is essential.





Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
