Requirement:

We're seeking a Field Maintenance Engineer (company van provided) to join our esteemed engineering team at our Prestwick workshop. The role involves working across various locations, including occasional travel to other UK airports. The tasks predominantly entail mechanical maintenance, with elements of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical work.



Main Duties Include:



Conducting planned maintenance on aircraft ground support equipment and tooling

Executing repairs according to a maintenance schedule

Proficiently diagnosing and troubleshooting a range of issues, encompassing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Handling the collection and delivery of customer equipment across our network

Collaborating within a cohesive engineering team

Surveying equipment to identify faults and generate comprehensive reports

Supporting work activities at different airports or UK sites as needed

Liaising effectively with the Operations Team for efficient job execution



What We Look for in Candidates:



A positive attitude and proactive approach to tasks

Preferably, a formal engineering or related qualification

Demonstrable experience in a similar role is advantageous

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in IT, including MS Office applications

Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels



Additional Information:



Travel between sites may be required occasionally

Full clean driving licence (manual gearbox) essential

Right to work in the UK is a must

Ability to obtain an airport pass, requiring a clean personal record and relevant work/educational history up to 5 years prior with references
