About the Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping equipment running at peak performance. You'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of material handling equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. You'll also provide technical advice and detailed reports while building strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Carry out diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
Perform regular inspections and servicing to prevent equipment downtime
Accurately record service and repair work in reports and company systems
Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring the best solutions are delivered
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
Strong expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Commitment to health & safety protocols
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and clients
